Elizabeth Swaney was an Olympian from Hungary, who participated in the recently concluded Winter Olympics. She competed as a Halfpipe Skier.
Though she is based in US, she took advantage of her Hungarian connection, and participated for Hungary.
Prior to contesting for Hungary, as per public sources, Elizabeth Swaney also contested for Venezuela, again through family connection.
As per experts, her performance in Halfpipe skiing was mundane, and lacked Olympic standards. But, she also happened to be one of the top 30 contestants from around the world.
Would you consider her participation a scam or had the qualities of a true Olympian?
