Duality, Philosophy, Mythology and Science - Is there a commonality?

There is this dual polarity in most of the cultures out there -

Beauty & the Beast
Jesus & Judas

In the Western Hemisphere

The concept of dual polarity is also known in the Eastern Hemisphere in different forms:

Yoni/Shiva
Yin/Yang

The above two represents a duality of polarity with both needed for existence. It is not strictly a good vs. evil scenario, but more like the Sun and the Moon with both needed on Planet Earth at right levels.

We also see examples of opposite polarities, which is more represented as Good vs. Evil scenarios such as,

Krishna & Kamsa
Rama & Ravana

In Science, we see duality in the form of waves and particles, North & South Pole.

As we can see, the concept of duality is presented in different forms throughout the history of humans across multiple areas.

This concept of duality is deeply ingrained in human actions, and how we align our actions would determine where we would fit in this duality space.
