Today marks Prof. Noam Chomsky's 90th birthday. Prof. Chomsky is known for his outspoken and straight-forward approach to handling delicate topics, that he usually presents in plain words. Happy Birthday !!
On this day, it seems relevant to briefly discuss my perspective on the "Universal Grammar" theory put forth by Prof. Chomsky in the area of linguistics. Further, we will also see validity of the alternative theory put forth to oppose Prof. Chomsky's theory.
